Farhad Pilan Javaherian (3 October 1960)
Pilan is an Iranian artist born in Tehran, Iran (3 October 1960). His art work consists of both paintings and sculptures. As a kid, he was taught by his maternal uncle late artist Faramarz Pilaram, then Professor of Art and Architecture at the University of Technology (Elmo Sanat) in Tehran. Pilan moved to Freiburg in Germany in 1986 to study BFA Graphic and Art at the University of Fine Arts in Freiburg (Freie Hochschule für Grafik-Design & Bildende Kunst Freiburg 1992-96). To date his paintings can be viewed in Cour des Boecklin in Strasbourg-Bischheim. Pilan resides between Germany and Iran.
