Description of the work: “Sonnet 154: Windows to the Soul” is a captivating interpretation of Hafez’s famous sonnet, rendered in calligraphic brilliance on a 100*70 canvas. This unique artwork blends the profound poetry of Hafez with the symbolic allure of the human gaze, offering an immersive visual and spiritual journey for its beholders.The backdrop, an evocative shade of green akin to the human sclera, serves asa grounding element and frames the main features of the artwork: two beautifully constructed eyes. These elements evoke a sense
of intimate connection, as if the canvas is alive and engaging with the viewer, mirroring the insightful wisdom of
Hafez’s poetry. Nestled within these eyes, on the irises, the verses from Sonnet 154 come alive in expressive calligraphy, as though the poem’s soul dwells within this gaze. The pupils, highlighted with
